This group was formed in 1998 in New Hope, NC out of Calvary Gospel Church (www.calvarygospel.info). This trio consists of Buster Deaton, Wanda Faircloth, and Tony Deaton. A mixed trio that loves nothing better than having church. They love to carry the message to a lost and dying world. Their soul purpose is to keep the message simple and see lost people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! This is a family group from the foothills of North Carolina.
Buster Deaton

Wanda was in a quartet at the tender age of sixteen with her father Leon Morton and is no stranger to spreading the gospel through song. Tony is serious about sharing Jesus with the world and has a desire to serve God in the capacity in which he is called.

Richard A. Grant
Hello. My name is Richard A. Grant. I am the new soundman for Calvary Gospel Trio. It remains a family affair because Buster is my first cousin and Tony is my second cousin. Wanda and I are just brother and sister in Christ, Amen! I was born on May 12, 1951 in Orangeburg, SC. I moved to Asheboro, NC in 1977 and have been here ever since. I have basically driven a truck of some sort all of my working career. Around 35 years or so. I have also served my country in the Marine Corp. I love to go fishing, play a little golf and most of all I love to go to church. I thank God every day for saving my soul and I just want to be a willing vessel fit for the Master's use! Anyway, without being too lengthy, I have recently developed an interest in running sound and God opened a door for me to run the sound for this group. I humbly accepted and the rest is history. I hope to meet new friends as we travel and look forward to seeing you soon.
Yours In Christ,
Richard A. Grant
God Bless You! Calvary Gospel Trio
